Unfortunately that update introduced<br \/>\na regression that could break the fish shell. This update fixes the problem.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We apologize for the inconvenience.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Original advisory details:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">James Troup discovered that snap did not properly manage the permissions for<br \/>\nthe snap directories. A local attacker could possibly use this issue to expose<br \/>\nsensitive information. (CVE-2021-3155)<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Ian Johnson discovered that snapd did not properly validate content interfaces<br \/>\nand layout paths. A local attacker could possibly use this issue to inject<br \/>\narbitrary AppArmor policy rules, resulting in a bypass of intended access<br \/>\nrestrictions. (CVE-2021-4120)<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Qualys Research Team discovered that snapd did not properly validate the<br \/>\nlocation of the snap-confine binary. A local attacker could possibly use this<br \/>\nissue to execute other arbitrary binaries and escalate privileges.<br \/>\n(CVE-2021-44730)<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Qualys Research Team discovered that a race condition existed in the snapd<br \/>\nsnap-confine binary when preparing a private mount namespace for a snap. A<br \/>\nlocal attacker could possibly use this issue to escalate privileges and<br \/>\nexecute arbitrary code.
