A security issue affects these releases of Ubuntu and its derivatives:<\/p>\n

Several security issues were fixed in MariaDB.<\/p>\n

\n– mariadb-10.5: MariaDB database
\n– mariadb-10.3: MariaDB database<\/p>\n

Several security issues were discovered in MariaDB and this update includes
\nnew upstream MariaDB versions to fix these issues.<\/p>\n
MariaDB has been updated to 10.3.34 in Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and to 10.5.15 in
\nUbuntu 21.10.<\/p>\n
In addition to security fixes, the updated packages contain bug fixes,
\nnew features, and possibly incompatible changes.<\/p>\n

Ubuntu 21.10:
\nmariadb-server 1:10.5.15-0ubuntu0.21.10.1<\/p>\n

This update uses a new upstream release, which includes additional bug
\nfixes. In general, a standard system update will make all the necessary
