Roger Pau Monn\u00e9 discovered that the Xen virtual block driver in the
\nLinux kernel did not properly initialize memory pages to be used for
\nshared communication with the backend. A local attacker could use this
\nto expose sensitive information (guest kernel memory). (CVE-2022-26365)<\/p>\n
Roger Pau Monn\u00e9 discovered that the Xen paravirtualization frontend in
\nthe Linux kernel did not properly initialize memory pages to be used for
\nshared communication with the backend. A local attacker could use this
\nto expose sensitive information (guest kernel memory). (CVE-2022-33740)<\/p>\n
It was discovered that the Xen paravirtualization frontend in the Linux
\nkernel incorrectly shared unrelated data when communicating with certain
\nbackends. A local attacker could use this to cause a denial of service
\n(guest crash) or expose sensitive information (guest kernel memory).

After a standard system update you need to reboot your computer to make
\nall the necessary changes.<\/p>\n
ATTENTION: Due to an unavoidable ABI change the kernel updates have
\nbeen given a new version number, which requires you to recompile and
\nreinstall all third party kernel modules you might have installed.
\nUnless you manually uninstalled the standard kernel metapackages
\n(e.g. linux-generic, linux-generic-lts-RELEASE, linux-virtual,
\nlinux-powerpc), a standard system upgrade will automatically perform
\nthis as well.<\/p>\n
