A remote attacker could possibly use this<br \/>\nissue to cause Open vSwitch to crash, leading to a denial of service.<br \/>\n(CVE-2023-3966)<\/p>\n<p>It was discovered that Open vSwitch incorrectly handled certain ICMPv6<br \/>\nNeighbor Advertisement packets. A remote attacker could possibly use this<br \/>\nissue to redirect traffic to arbitrary IP addresses. (CVE-2023-5366)<\/p>\n<p>Update instructions:<\/p>\n<p>The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following<br \/>\npackage versions:<\/p>\n<p>Ubuntu 23.10:<br \/>\nopenvswitch-common 3.2.2-0ubuntu0.23.10.1<br \/>\npython3-openvswitch 3.2.2-0ubuntu0.23.10.1<\/p>\n<p>Ubuntu 22.04 LTS:<br \/>\nopenvswitch-common 2.17.9-0ubuntu0.22.04.1<br \/>\npython3-openvswitch 2.17.9-0ubuntu0.22.04.1<\/p>\n<p>Ubuntu 20.04 LTS:<br \/>\nopenvswitch-common 2.13.8-0ubuntu1.4<br \/>\npython3-openvswitch 2.13.8-0ubuntu1.4<\/p>\n<p>This update uses a new upstream release, which includes additional bug<br \/>\nfixes.
