Improved support for non-English characters A question asked in Spanish, French, Romanian or any other language written with accented characters now reaches the AI Assistant exactly as you typed it, rather than as a corrupted copy, and the length limit on a question counts characters rather than bytes. Feature names and descriptions containing an accent, a trademark sign or any other non-English character are no longer garbled in the assistant’s activity cards. On servers with a binary cPanel install, an action whose details contain an accented character no longer fails with an internal serialization error, and an approval whose identifier contains a non-English character is no longer refused as though it had been tampered with. Improved password handling for new accounts When the AI Assistant creates an account that needs a password, the server now generates a strong one instead of the assistant inventing it, and shows it to you once. The password is no longer part of the conversation data: the copy button fetches it when you click, and the server discards it as soon as it is read. New email accounts are also reported by the address you asked for, rather than by cPanel’s internal “user+domain” form. Improved answers about email accounts The AI Assistant recommends email addresses when you ask which accounts to create, instead of repeatedly asking for an address it was never given. It also recommends common addresses when you ask for suggestions for your business at the start of a conversation, rather than only after email has already been mentioned. When answering a how-to question about creating an email account, the assistant no longer drops the password step or leaves an empty numbered item in its place. Improved approval cards An approval card that you declined or left unanswered is now closed on the server before your next question, so the assistant no longer proposes that change again alongside the next, unrelated request. A card you declined can no longer be approved afterwards. Improved messages and errors The AI Assistant’s messages read in the active voice and no longer say “please”, and its error messages name what could not be done instead of describing it as something that happened to you. The assistant now tells you when your server is not authorized to use it, instead of reporting an authorization refusal as a temporary outage and asking you to try again. An error the server was already handling elsewhere is no longer overwritten when the assistant runs one of its own guarded operations. API changes The AIAssistant::ask UAPI function has been removed. The AI Assistant hub streams every conversation over its SSE endpoint and no longer calls it. The assistant also no longer offers its own API functions as actions it can run during a conversation. The new AIAssistant::event_schema UAPI function returns the analytics event dictionary the server installed. The AI Assistant’s API documentation now identifies each operation by its module and function name, matching the convention the rest of cPanel’s API reference uses. The published API specs previously reported the wrong first cPanel version for every AIAssistant UAPI call. Analytics changes Analytics now switch off, rather than emit unvalidated events, when the installed event dictionary is missing an event the assistant emits or carries a malformed property definition. An event dictionary pattern that will not compile is named in the log instead of being reported as an emitter fault, and the assistant and the theme now judge a dictionary’s null patterns and required flags the same way. The installed version stamp is refreshed on upgrade, so analytics events report the build the server is actually running.
